Pirts: The Latvian Way of Steam - 1:1 Sauna Session

£0.00

08 & 15.11 2026 | at Soak Bathhouse

On two dates this November, Masha will be offering private, one-to-one pirts rituals at SOAK.

Rooted in Latvian tradition, pirts is a deeply personal practice, often sought during times of transition, uncertainty or inner inquiry. It offers a space to pause, reconnect with the body and move through life’s thresholds with greater awareness.

At the heart of Latvian pirts is a profound relationship with plants. Working with trees and herbs gathered into traditional whisks, the practitioner uses rhythmic movements, steam and touch to relax, cleanse and restore. Each plant is believed to carry its own energy and spirit, becoming a companion in the ritual and a guide through the process.

Every session is unique, shaped around the person receiving it. Herbal infusions, gentle heat, steam, plant whisks, salt and amber come together in an intuitive ritual that invites you to slow down, turn inward and reconnect with yourself and the natural world.

Originally from Latvia, Masha shares this tradition with deep respect for its roots and the relationships between people, plants and land.
