A space to pause, listen, and hear

Sense Ability is a sanctuary for pausing, sensory grounding,
and coming together across a five-week cultural programme
The Crypt Gallery in London.
Intimate quiet spaces, enveloping sound and scent-scapes of local plants,
and diverse offerings from the land, shape a sanctuary that is open during
the day for anyone to ‘re-root’ into presence.
The evening and weekend programme is shaped to forge deeper awareness and
relationship with the living wisdom of the body and the land, engaging with
foundational subjects that sustain life as we know it.
The Crypt Gallery, Exterior
The project works together with local and international artists, educators, storytellers, and celebrated change-makers to shape a programme saturated with live music, storytelling, educational experiences, screenings and more.
A space to pause, soften, learn from, and create together new forms of interbeing.
An open space for reconnection, contemplation, and creative or introspective practices.
Sense Ability is a space designed with immense care, in reciprocal response to the deeper needs of a fast-paced urban environment, creating a communal space that nurtures deep listening and supports intentional pausing.
The Crypt Gallery, Floorplan
Sense Ability is where the senses align into presence,
Where the body and spirit can find retreat,
Where we discover ways to reconnect with the essences that compose our lives,
And see the abundance that thrives within our own potential and beneath our feet.
